Primary developer of the groundwater component of a basin-scale coupled
surface-groundwater simulator. Simulator used to model climatic, hydrologic,
hydrogeologic, and anthropogenic processes in an attempt to reverse declining
groundwater and streamflow trends within the Rattlesnake Creek agricultural
watershed in central Kansas.

Developed stream aquifer interaction model to develop 18 MGD lateral
well system for new power plant along the Missouri River. Model utilized
to successfully demonstrate negligible environmental impacts within protected
wetlands to the US Army Corp in support of ground water withdrawal permit.

Developed numerical model of the Great Bend alluvial aquifer to study
propagation of stream flood-wave pulse through buried channels and to establish its role in recharging the aquifer.
